Lipstick Jungle - Season #2 Episode #4
Even though Lipstick did not air last week, they sure made it up in this episode. Lets get started…………………………
Wendy (Brooke Shields) is beginning to enjoy the stay at home mom life (NOT) She is definitely is a businesswoman. As her day started out to get the kids off to school, she prepared a pancake breakfast. They did not appreciate itL. She was taking advantage of some open time so she made appointments for the dentist, doctor, facial, manicures, etc. (This is only good for a week or so) When Wendy went to pick up her son from school, she bumped into a few other moms. They were talking about fundraisers so Wendy volunteered her time; they declined that but would appreciate a picture or trinket from a celebrity. (Poor Wendy L she is not fitting in) There is huge charity dinner going on and all the girls are attending. Wendy & her family arrive, but as soon as she spots her ex-boss, she decides to bail out early. She still cannot face the man who fired her. Later after the event, Shane & the kids came home to find mom upset and crying. She finally told the kids she was fired from her job and she told them she was fired for a good reason.
Nico (Kim Raver) was on cloud nine walking into her office, until her estranged father greeted her. He was there to beg for money to bail her loser brother out of jail. She is so tired of always helping her brother out for jams. And he stole money from her in the past. (Wake up girl!!! Its your money and you earned it, don’t let them make you feel you need to help) Her father is trying to convince her that her brother George is innocent he did not do anything wrong. Apparently, he was a limo driver and an investor. He got some inside info on stocks from people he carted around. At Nico’s office news broke for a potential story about this incident, nobody knew it was Nico’s brother. So, Nico met with her brother and tells him to release his story. She told him that she could run a piece in her magazine in a favorable way to him. Nico invites Kirby (Robert Buckley) to the huge charity event. (Things are finally getting on the social level. She is finally showing him offJ) The next day she meets her father at his “old” restaurant and gives him bail money. Her brother talks to he press. Kirby meets up with her in Queens and she shows him around.
Victory (Lindsey Price) finally meets Rodrigo’s daughter Celia, she is not a fan of Victory Ford. Then for things to go really bad, Victory noticed that Celia was reading a book and she blurts out the out come of the book. (Poor VictoryL) Rodrigo and Celia are invited to the fancy charity event too. They all arrive but swiftly brushed aside by Dahlia (Rosie Perez) who has a photo op for Victory. She finally meets up with them later and sees that Celia hurt her knee; a photographer pushed her down. Rodrigo and Celia leave. Victory asked him about his daughter the next day and he says that it wasn’t a scene for them. She tells him she has two lives and he says he likes the non-public life of hers. (Well buddy you can’t have it all) Victory states that she’s a package deal, and reminds him everybody has baggage. (So it’s fair to say OVER……)
